Grammar, spelling, organization,
drive you up a tree on ocassion.
The eye of the eagle,
soaring way up high,
searching for its prey,
i not dotted,
word spelled wrong,
chronologically off.

The predator strikes,
stops the writer in his tracks,
back to the drawing board,
pray to the Lord.

Get that word right,
make it fit for God's sight.
Disappoint the bird of prey,
send the vulture on his way.

If you like to write,
do your best to make it right.
Don't retreat in the fight.
When the going gets tough,
the tough get going,
don't hide,
don't run,
write on.
