Alcohol can be a bad habit.
Rub a dub dub, stay out of the pub, don't get all drunk, hit the ground plunk! Trip over own feet, end up lying on the street. Dog lick your face, a drunken disgrace. Stagger home, puke in your room, sleep in the bath tub, rub a dub dub. Wake up with a hangover, fall back in the cover. Lay off the job, go back, curse boss Bob. Get fired, then beg to be re-hired. Now you're unemployed, your life destroyed. You sat in pity, lost in the city. You try to pick up, but your brain is corrupt. Your mind is gone, alcohol prone. G

glad i never touched the stuff except on an occasional (VERY occasional, that is) basis; i have enough trouble walking when i am SOBER; WHY add alcohol to the fray?? i'd be a fallin' all over myself, my feet, my crutches, and god knows what else! LOL nooooo, i DON'T do alcohol very well; thinks i will stay away!

good write, though; enjoyed! read susan spark's poem; it'll make you cry! it did me!

Thank God my kind friend, I have never cared for alcohol. My brother is an alcoholic and my dad was before he died. I've seen the damage it can do to peoples lives...not just the one drinking but the whole family. Good write as always:)
