This whole world is sinking, simply because of stupid thinking. People dying everywhere, stink of death in the air. Everywhere geographically there is hate, people stubborn and refusing to relate. Wars over land, blood flowing in the desert sand. Intolerance in religion, every nation under suspicion.
Time for a new way, sunrise of a brand new day. The old ways just aren't making it, they're only breaking it. If we keep up our present rate, destruction will certainly be our fate, then it will be to late.
Like the bible says, men's heart will grow cold, and destroy
themselves. If we the people would stop hating one another for
ignorant reasons, maybe, just maybe, we could rightfully influence
other nations.
Excellent write, Grady. You captured today's headlines to a T. But let me play devil's advocate. I think the situation is even worse. "People dying everywhere ..." Far more are being born than are dying, even in all the wars going on right now. And most of the newcomers will live in the third world unless they can get a VISA (legal or otherwise) to the U.S. The dying is only like a spit in an ocean of births. Now, is this a good thing? Don't think so. Fodder for a major collapse is accumulating. When? Don't know. But your poem will ring ten times louder when it does.
