Hope is like dope, it is addictive, then carries on to be reflective. Most of us hope that there is a higher power, a supreme being to save the hour. We all hope that we will stay in good health, and some of us hope for great wealth. A majority of us hope that everyone will love us, and that life will be less of a fuss.
Hope gives us something to look forward too, happiness and not being blue. All of us hope for joy, and the devil works hard to destroy. Even in hard times, hoping continues to ring our chimes.
Early in the morning on days off I rise, face the horizon to my eyes. Then I start wishing and hoping, Lord are you there, do you really care, because this life surely isn't fair? My hope isn't all for selfishness, it's for our totality in completeness.
I hope and pray for all, together we stand, divided we fall.

Hi Grady, this is a very wise write. It's God who gave us hope. Without Him, we would have none. I wonder why some of us want to blame Him for all the painful things that happen in this world, when it is not Him, but mostly mankind who causes their own and other's pain? (I'm not referring to you.) I referring to those who hate God because of all the hurtful things that happen. I feel very morose when I hear this.
Great thought-provoking write, Grady. We should all stand together for it is true that if divided, we shall fall.
