Just a thought
Thank you all for your concern with my son.

Poem Artwork

She has eyes,
but cannot see
The torment she receives
Wandering down a road
Maturity, only ten years old
Why she wonders
silently
She has ears ..
She hears the screams of pain..
But she is a girl herself..
Only wanting to end this fear..
Why lord..
Must she hear..
Why lord..
Must she see..
To be witness to
the world cruelty?
Do you not care..
Leaving us..
Your children..
In despair.
I pray their eyes do not
see what I have seen.
I pray they never hear
the echoes in their mind..
That their bodies will make it through ..
the torture so many will endure.
And they hold on..
Cry out to their mothers..
Their fathers..
The very ones who are killing them..
But love is strange..
In a childs heart..
You even love ..
The one who rips apart.
Why Lord do you send
these children of despair?
To show me,
To show them
What life is supposed
to have been.
To show there is nothing
worth fighting for in life..
Purgatory for the children..
Die by the knife..
Why God ..
Do you not answer..
End all this pain..
Why have you forsaken us..
The children
with no name..
Children.. once..
Not anymore..
Now they are nothing..
Damaged goods..
On blood filled floors.

Erica my heart goes out to you, but God isn't to blame , what man does to man is the very reason we need God,and we can't have the perfection you seek on this earth it is only in the world to come where God resides, and where believers will one day too!

Erica, Your poem is well heard. God does not forsake. He is a loving God. People are weak and cruel. I know, at times, we all wonder what we did to deserve our fate. I've often caught myself saying, " Why me?" We can offer each other all the best in the world but it doesn't ease our pain. There is a reason for everything and it does take a strong faith to understand. Your writting is awesome and your pain is real. I'm sure He knows that. Love and Peace, Paul
