Runaway Angel

She flies
with broken wings..
Rare is it to see an angel.. 
filled with despair..
Rare is it to see an angel.. 
Lost between this world
And the spirits world..
Her heart is broken..
So she wanders..
this earth..
Flies through the air..
Trying to remember
Why her chest feels so heavy..
Why her wings can barely
fly with the weight..
The weight of her heavy heart..
She never really had a chance..
To find..
love
life
laughter.
She roams the earth looking..
For the love
S
he so craves..
Looking for anyone who can
see her in her disheveled way.
She is so beautiful.
Yet filled with pain..
She still seeks
the love of a family.
She wants the love of
her dreams..
She never had the time in life
to find any of these .. 
Suddenly she was 
called home..
She was not ready to go..
Now she is a
Run away angel..
On this earth
All alone.. 
Broken angel..
Broken heart..
Looking for something lost..
Like a child in the dark..
Holding her hands out..
Waiting to feel a human soul..
But she cannot find any .. 
Like in life
She was always alone..
Never belonging anywhere.. 
Always someplace in between..
This seems to be her life..
For all eternity.. 
Runaway angel..
No place to go..
Runaway angel..
Trying to find home.
Run away angel..
reaching into
Stone cold souls.

sounds tremendously like us humans Erica. Most of us walk around so soaked in our problems that we let our problems rule our moods. then we try to beat up on other people who seem to not have any problems. The problem with this is, others have the same and even worse problems, they just handle them different. Stevie Wonder has a serious problem I wouldn't want to deal with but for years you could hardly tell by the way he keeps himself up. I don't know what I would do in a case like this. So I move on knowing and enjoying not having it. tkcare G

This is a true depicting of an aspiring heart that didn't learn to pump love in the well of wisdom... This poem was poemized with a lifetime melting of emotions that taught the soul to know, but never let it accept the love that stands at the doors of happiness, and poetized with words of an artist that enriches the pages of Poetry.

This poem is a touching and profound WRITING.
