This was written between the age of 10 and eleven.. I had spent three weeks locked in a room.. The room was dark brown so I made it into what i wanted..in my mind This was the beginning of my writing.. Not the best.. but the best a young girl could do. Repost
I sit alone in my blue room Waiting for the loneliness I know will come soon. I do not mind .. because I know the loneliness will let me go It will take my mind to a familiar place where life is more than this human race.. Where children laugh Where it seldom rains Where I am safe from life's inflicting pain. Then I awake I feel the gloom I know I am back in my blue room A quick escape I try to find but I know it is only in my mind.
This shows the talent that was developing and could be any age. A powerful write on the need to escape from our environment into one of the minds many shelters,when abuse is present. Thank God you were able to do so.

Erica when I was young I was locked up inside my own mind, for a long time my own brain beat the crap out of me. I did more damage to mayself than life or any enemy. Now in my mature years, I don't get beat up on that much not even from my own brain. I guess age brings the ability to quit getting our butts beat, even from self. hugs G
