First and foremost I believe in God.. I just may not believe how others do.. I was raised with Indian beliefs also. but if I were to tell you all the stories of my ancestors Gods you would think I was nuts.. Not that most of you don't already..lol.. So just another take.. on looking at things in reality.

Evidence.. The bible said .. The bible states.. Ten commandments. No debates.. I am your God.. You worship only me.. It is in the holy book. I even sent my son for you.. Doesn't that give you proof? You live and breath I give you this.. What more do you need as your evidence.
I never met the man who wrote the bible .. I do agree the ten commandments are great rules.. I may have even added a few more had I written that holy book.. But lets face it.. Prove they are your words.. Yes, You sent your son.. He died horribly.. Died for our sins.. I didn't see your son.. Long before my time.. But I see many children still being sacrificed each and every day.. What was their crime.. Don't tell me everything has a reason.. That is not good enough.. If you could make miracles happen years ago.. Give one to us now.. A full blown miracle.. Parting of the sea.. Walking on water.. Floating angels from the sky.. Show us the way you showed others.. Then I will no longer question why.. Stop all these religious wars.. No one is to blame.. They are ALL fighting for YOU.. End it.. or they fight in vain.. I am trying to go by the evidence.. Your case looks circumstantial at best.. People feel you.. Sense you.. Pray to you. Not one person can say they have seen you. It is up to you to prove.. Circumstantial evidence Lord.. I am so sorry. But I need proof.
I was born and raised a Muslim but that didn't stop me from asking and looking for answers. The answers I came up with? I did not create myself and that there a purpose in life. I was not brought to this world so as to just eat and sleep. And Islam gave me all the answers that I needed. Good luck with your search, but whatever you do don't stop at the Bible, look around you and honestly think about your life. If you are honest with yourself you will find God. The One who created you will guide you if you are sincere in your heart and ask Him for guidance.

Just want to let you know that my sister can see angels all the time, floating in the sky; or on top of her in the same room just as she's about the fall asleep. This is the truth. She says they're beautifully-dressed, with ribbons floating around them.
I have not seen them, but she always did when she was a little girl.
About one's belief in God, I think God is there only when you believe He is; and I believe He is.
