Women from around the world,
Throughout the ages tend
To tell the world that canines
Took their place as "man's best friend."

I'd have to say I do concur
To that which they contend,
And I'll tell you why some men prefer
A dog to be their friend.

They're not demanding, understanding,
Loving through and through.
They're always sharing, giving, caring;
Devoted unto you.

Their tails wag, they never nag;
They're faithful to the end.
And this is why some men prefer
A dog to be their friend.
