                          ~ Lady Of Autumn ~

Lady of Autum ~ atire ~ wool shawl and warmth of the

Ash brown muff~to her feathered hat of blue ostrich~

Lady of Autumn Friend Of Mine

Wood stacked by the fireplace, fire crackling in the hearth,

To the warmest quilt readily aired, fresh pressed cider,

Mulling spices ~ baking, savoring scents of the fall,

Pumpkin pie to serve, apples of

Mixed baking and eating apples, succulent grapes of purple,

Wonderful color pallet to a wooden butter bowl

Autum's crisp, brisk air, brilliant sunshine, earth's tones,

Leaves swirling, whirling, there they go, colors all to the

Fall, golden wheat, reds, yellows, orange to  burnt umber,

                                    Colorful pallet, awe!!

Nature's presents to us a view, showy trees of the mountains,

The valley's hazy golden evening suns glow, colors peering

To  trees over yon, branches swaying blustery day, leaves dry

Blowing, rustling, dancing, path leading to the creek, floating

                                 Colorful leaves, waters lea

                                        ~Lady Of Autumn~
