*~Silver Slippers~Lady Angel~O'~* ~ Where, O' where are my Silver Slippers In and out of my closet, not here are they O drat what to do what to do Well there is much to do Christmas Eve is coming soon Not a Silver Slipper in my room All my sisters will be upset Not a Silver Slipper for Christmas Eve Up in the attic It's dusty cobwebs..my they've been Here for centuries..there is my trunk Opening it .. not a Silver Slipper O' *The Arcangel of the arc en ceil heaven'* s Got to have my Silver Slippers Go find them Lady Angel ...not on this cloud Ah, over there by the Golden Gate I see my Silver Slippers..now I can be the finest Of angels .. Lady Angel ~O' in my Silver Slippers Christmas Eve is coming for all the angels In the arc en ciel ...Silver Slippers~ Lady Angel~O' You will see a thousand angels with Silver Slippers Bell choirs, bells ringing, pristine the sounds Christmas Eve.. ringing the news throughout The holy city that our savior is born Lady Angel ~Silver Slippers~O' Heaven's Angel choirs with you Christmas Eve Harps resounding joy..I am an Angel watching over Him~ Silver Slippers~Lady Angel~O' Mary Ann Biddinger (c) November 30, 2010

I really didn't see this coming, Mary Ann, and that makes the conclusion so delightful. I also love the language and diction you have chosen for this poem, which seems so highly appropriate. Like Andy Turner (it seems!), my mind was wandering earlier to Cinderella, but this is a far more meaningful and enduring story! :)) xx

Lovely imaging. And silver slippers seems (to me) a good metaphor for completeness. I can see angels congregating near the manger to witness one of the greatest events ever on planet earth, the birth of the savior. This touched me in a special way, Lady Mary Ann. Presently I am reading Ben Hur, a tale of the Christ, whch sheds light on this blessed event from another unique perspective. Blessings and peace to you ... richard
