The first and third verses could stand alone; the middle verse adds a bit of weirdness to it. Yes, I know it's the way it was then, but still, I think it's better without that one. It's unique and very thought-provoking.
He specializes in unchaining the bound, freeing those imprisoned by sin. "He that believes is not condemned, but he that does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the Son of God."
