Shooting Spree

Whilst out shooting

I saw a bird merrily singing in a tree
took aim and shot it.

Saw a deer in a misty dell
shot it.

Families feeding ducks in the park
shot them.

Saw a swan, so refined
shot it.

Saw a squirrel jumping trees
shot it.

Saw a nest full of honeybees
shot it.

Saw a goose on the loose
shot it.

Saw a fox by a rusty bin
shot it.

Saw a dove dejected
shot it.

Saw a cat chasing a rat
shot it.

Saw a mole digging a hole
needed a new colour
Kodak roll, put it in
guess what?
Missed it.

I tried shooting myself once in my twenties - it back-fired though and went through my palm. The hint that you're using a weapon is the pivot in this chum. Capturing the moment with a camera is always better than re-structuring it with a gun. Thoughtful! Peace
