An intriguing pen Andy, the story sounds fascinating.

Like a dark version of Jack's Beanstalk, 'cept the nightmare never stops. You're so good at this type of compression - a whole story in 14 concise, short lines. I find the mythical style and archaic language suits this narrative, though the subject matter DOES seem also very contemporary. Only YOU could try to get away with the syntax of the last line! :)) xx
