What a truly amazing and special place Lee Abbey is and you have captured its abilities to speak volumes into the heart, mind and soul without uttering a word - by being inscrutable, as you suggest and as the gun-metal grey of the photograph indicates. Love the counterbalance of that final stanza, too: no sea/see-sickness here! :)) June 2006... so long ago, so much water under the... limestone cliffs. Your metaphorical "bathing" I don't recall - only getting very wet feet through my tartan-patterned leaking wellington boots! You articulate the awe, wonder and Aslan-magic well.
