Crows...it brings a smile to my face, because I remember how frightened my son was when he was about six or seven years old of them. He'd come in from playing in our backyard because he said they were sitting in the big oak watching him. Anyway...this is chilling and well written..has a Poe feel to it.Get better soon, Andy!
You do capture tangible darkness here, and it does seem inspired ~
But you had better just drown the buggers in tea and get well.

Andy, stay away from the crows. They harbor draconian ways that will doom us all. Send the undertaker away and leave the open lifeless tomb. It was reserved for another. Spooky, eh what. How morbidity rears itself when we are weak. You must never offer challenge to the powers of the "Killing Moon". An entertaining write Andy. Just right for Halloween. Love and peace to you my friend.
