Andy, your rendering relates a message that could consume a few paragraphs to tell from one who had not thought through what you wanted to convey. The tiger that feeds on pure hearts is the one we all wish would flourish. Pragmatism tells us this is not the reality of the situation. You have written from the heart and that is always a prerequisite of an influential work. The deceased writer of songs, J. Cash, proclaimed in one of songs that it was best to, "keep it from the heart and down to earth, sing the songs that make a difference and give us all our monies worth". I have attempted to subscribe to that same philosophy with my work. Your poem substantiates the validity of that belief. I bid you love and peace my dear friend. Jon Michael

Short, but great, Andy. Reminds me of that Indian saying about the two wolves (whichever you feed more is the one that prevails). I have a foot-long, two-headed tiger tat on my thigh, and it (they) symbolize very similar sentiments. Love the pic, too.
