Oh tree, oh mighty tree,
how permanent you are when
compared with me, dressed
in green all summer long, sharing
your shade when temperatures
high with any pilgrim
passing by.
So old, so tall, you look divine
in your new gown of gold and wine,
now it's fall you begin to disrobe,
naked and silent until you enchant us
again, with your resplendent
clothes that spring will bring.
Full of the mysterious power of natural laws of life, and with profound respect for nature's beauty!
I love this one Andy, and all of your contemplative wisdom.

Natures models Andy? Majestic contributors to the beauty of nature and friends to all living things, So in our ignorance we cut them down for pulpwood and a thousand other uses. Gone is their beauty, their shade, their soil conservation contribution and life giving oxygen. We are such intellects! I bid you love and peace my dear friend. Jon Michael
A lyrical poem of the "dressings" of fall and spring; wonderful words of descriptions and colorings that brought a smile to my face of the soon to come fall season. Well written. Joy L. Hale
