Does the moon ask the sun
‘Who am I?’
Or the tree refer to the bee
‘Why, I am who?’
Does the cat chased by the dog
Mew, who are you?
Or the mouse ask the cat
Before the crunch
‘Why am I lunch?’
Why do I ask who am I
When there’s a life to live
Nothings (k)new under the sun
Cogito ergo sum?
Lovely write.

Things might not be new to some, but letting go lets us (K)no(w) the (K)new...loved it!

"Who am I" isn't necessary to ask ourselves because we know who we are.
"Who are you?" is necessary a question to ask the other.
Nice image of the "Thinker"!
