It's nice to see your face again I see now what I've always known My Face is Your Face It used to bother me When I'd look in the mirror It was you that I would see Forgiveness and time have healed that scar I'm glad to know where you are Education and maturation A former daddy's girl with a newfound adoration Rejection and pain Weight loss and weight gain Childbirth and child loss I'm now married You are widowed after being long married You planted the seed that Gloria carried Father and Daughter Working on being friends My Face is Your Face It's nice to see you again
