Hearken!
As the world dawns anew upon the planescape of misfortitude
I see the inconsequential nature of man
The towering abodes of ants
and lost concepts given precedence
Hearken to this new world
Hearken to the seas sorrow
Good mourning to the trees
Sorrow is a many splendored thing
amidst the hearts of poets and painters
and upon the tables of kings
Whose only refuge from the mantle of burden
lies by the bed or upon the sword
Perhaps the pen instead
capturing life in all its eloquence
the palfrey morning dread
of waking fit less and finding the world aged with them
"Hearken!" says it all in full, on to fill my skull with energy... It makes me think that I have to be alert and work... Or it may be "pray"... I am working!
