Just because you're Paranoid...

Published in Babel Magazine

Just because you're paranoid....

I know they watch me, out there,
and in here with whispered musings
I am an ongoing research project
in the focused spectrums of sociology
.
It's objective analysis, and I likely do
much to object about, for I am a saint of sorts
destined for a definite martyrdom
for poetry and living in the moment
.
The wind winnows on about my doings
making language of glimmering chimes,
while the birds chirp fervently
in a language akin to the divinity
.
The trees are alive with this music,
and behind them lurks the shadows
spaces out of mind, haunted
by black cats crossing their eclipse
.
The people are out there, and truth is nestled
in the hearts, minds, and very palms
which constitute action and life
while composing in write and wrongs

The divinity is grasped and regrasped, but the Poet must always attempt the better hold. They are out there, waiting for the best from Us until We are finally dead. It was a good write. lgl

Some great great lines here, Tyler!

Such as:

I am an ongoing research project

and especially this:

by black cats crossing their eclipse

I just LOVE the scratchy onomatopoeia of that verse!

You're right on, man!

It's where our muse starts and takes off from... excellent, Tyler. It reminds me of the saying, "Hey, I'm okay! It's the rest of the world that's not!" stay strong...

We are all in the same fishbowl, and bravely you write about it.
