Dear child, from the time your life starts in your mom's womb until you become an adult, you are my project
When you were conceived
I opened a maternal clinic
I told your mom to pay a visit
I gave her antenatal care
I love you, dear child
you are my project
When you were born
I rushed with the vaccines
I gave you timely injections
I protected you from diseases
I love you, dear child
you are my project
When diarrhea made you dehydrated
I saved you with solution of miracle
You received a new lease of life
Hope has thus been restored
I love you, dear child
you are my project
When you became depleted
when your growth faltered
when you got terribly stunted
I rescued you with vitamins
I love you, dear child
you are my project
When you reached the age of school
I enrolled you at my famous school
I distributed books free of charge
I taught you history of my people
I love you, dear child
you are my project
You are now a teenager
but I haven't yet finished with you
your hormones are raging wildly
I preach safe sex
I love you, dear child
You are my project
You may not know me, dear child
I am a charity organization
I travel much to meet donors
I attend conferences
address your earthly problems
I am always at your disposal
Abdinoor this is both beautiful and sad! It's wonderful
and a true blessing that there are charities to help the
children. the sad part is that they are needed! If only
they didn't have to be so all-encompassing. We all have
need of charity at times, but to have it replace parents
due to such poverty in a nation, is a sad statement of
humanities failure in the enlightened world of today!
