In my village Women's role is cut clear
They cook, wash and clean the house
They fetch firewood and feed the chicken
They bear children and breastfeed them
They race against time to till the land
They walk too long but reach too close
They are human transport to carry a load
They are treated like beasts of burden
They please their husbands in suffering
They speak of their problems in silence
They have their rights grossly violated
With nails of abuse women are fixed
They are tied with strings of injustice
Women of the world,Wake up, stand up
Fight till last sister tastes freedom
