Neighboring countries of IGAD are gathering at UN headquarters in New York to meet and discuss with the security council on issues pertaining to peace in Somalia.
She is beaten and lonely
Tears dried in her lovely eyes
She is a victim of a gang rape
She is an African. She is Mother Somalia
A peace wagon is offered to her by IGAD
But without justice she can not ride it
Please give Somalia a strong horse
And put it in the front, not behind
as happened many times before.

Oh Abdi-Noor, my heart goes out to you and your country and people. My friend sometimes I think Mother earth is far to good for mankind.
Misfortune is as usual powered by greed, injustice, and man's inhumanity when dealing with each other. I pray for a better world and sometimes wonder if we are truly worth one. Peace and blessings, your friend...Mikii
My heart is with you, your country and your people. It is a sad thing when one's best hope for the implementation of the a strong and honest government is the action of an organization as incompetent and corrupt as the United Nations.
Oh AbdiNoor, be assured we stand with you in prayer for this most important and just plea!Put this in a blog! Try to get it seen in more places. Blessings to you dear man and to your family and country!
This is so lovely, Abdi.
There is a lot of optimism in the air this time, may we mend from the inside. My prayers and gratitude for your continued support.
