In health you seldom complain of headache
You simply relate it to overwork or exertion
But the source of pain could lie elsewhere
It may be the stomach where you need to clean
Strike the base to get a permanent cure
Pain-killers can prolong the problem
In politics you seldom complain of poor economy
You may tirelessly wish to see leadership changed
But the source of problem could lie elsewhere
It could be the bottom where you need to reform
Strike the base to get a permanent cure
Mere guesses could possibly lead to a faulty decision
In relationships you seldom complain of tepid love
You may tirelessly wish to change your partner
But the source of problem could lie elsewhere
It could be your thinking where you need to change
Irrigate your garden with the waters of respect
Jealousy can only destroy the flowers of love

Reviews of "Jealousy Can Only Destroy The Flowers of Love"
Wiser words were never said my friend. Love the last line, irrigate your garden, etc. There is truly no room for jealousy in the flowers of love. Excelleent. Peace and blessings.
wisdom in all three stanzas - you've done a wonderful job with parallel construction and approach. as for jealousy, your advice to irrigate our gardens is absolutely "on"
jealousy is indeed a poison that will corrode the vessel it is contained in "and destroy the flowers of love" by its own destructive nature ... mutual respect goes a long way ...
and the wisdom with which you portray them.
Excellent work!
a wise and inspired poem ...
