I am happy today. My work has been honored. A widely read newspaper and a printing house in Mogadishu AYAAMAHA PRESS recognized me as THE PERSON OF THE YEAR after thoroughly assessing the work of poets and writers in some selected parts of Somalia. The announcement took place at their headquaters in Mogadishu yesterday. I want to share this great event with you as without your encouragement I wouldn't have been able to impress my people with poetry and other literary works. Happy New Year to all of you.
