In Somalia the country is divided by tribal bundaries and there are greenlines in the cities and towns of this war-torn nation. People have difficulty getting access to each other to meet and intermingle without feeling tribal animosity. Now we have got a govenment but we can not succeed to build a new Somalia unless these greenlines and roadblocks are totally removed from the entire nation.
I AM THE GREEN LINE
I AM THE LINE OF EVIL
I AM THE LINE OF HATRED
I AM THE PRODUCT OF WAR
I AM PYISICAL. I'M POLITICAL
I DIVIDE THE CITIES
I DIVIDE THE TOWNS
I DIVIDE THE PEOPLE
I DIVIDE THE COUNTRY
I DIVIDE SOMALIA
I AM A REAL PROBLEM
I AM A REAL CULPRIT
I AM THE GREENLINE
I AM A PRODUCT OF WAR
I LOVE GUNS. I LOVE BOMBS
I LOVE BANDITS. I LOVE KILLERS
I LOVE WARLORDS
I CAN’T EXIST WITHOUT THEM
THEY CAN'T EXIST WITHOUT ME
THEY ARE JUDGED BY MY LENGTH
THE SHORTER I AM
THE LESS IMPORTANT THEY ARE
THE LONGER I AM
THE MORE RESPECT THEY GAIN
I AM A REAL PROBLEM
I AM A REAL CULPRIT
I AM THE GREENLINE
I AM A PRODUCT OF WAR
I AM A SAFE HAVEN FOR SINNERS
THEY STEAL, ROB AND LOOT
THEY RUSH TO ME FOR SAFETY
THEY HIDE THEIR BOOTY BEHIND ME
THE MORE THEY FIGHT AND SHOOT
THE MORE I AM STRETCHED FURTHER
I AM THE GREENLINE
I AM THE LINE OF EVIL
I AM THE PRODUCT OF WAR
BORN CHAOTIC I LIVE TO DESTROY
I AM A THORN IN THE NECK OF UNITY
I AM AN OPEN WOUND IN THE HEART OF PEACE
I AM A BAD TOOTH IN THE MOUTH OF FREEDOM
I AM A JUICE OF SORROW IN THE CUP OF JOY
I AM A BLACK MARK IN THE FACE OF BEAUTY
I AM A GEAR-POINT IN THE ZONE OF CONFLICT
MY INTENTION IS TO KEEP YOUR HEARTS APART
MY INTENTION IS TO KEEP YOUR HEADS APART
UNLESS YOU CLEAN ME FROM THE CITIES
YOU CAN'T WISH TO HAVE SOMALIA BACK AGAIN
START WITH MOGADISHU IF YOU ARE SERIOUS
OTHERWISE STOP THE JOKES
