A friend of mine is undergoing mid-life crisis. I tried to help her with this poem.
Life is as you make it with your hands
If you think positively you enjoy it
If you think negatively you suffer so badly
It is upon the person to shape his life
Situations may come to you in many faces
Some are desirable. Others are just pitfalls
Life is a composition of many things
It is made up of mistakes and solutions
It poses great challenges to the young
Much the same way it challenges the old
Sometimes we do things very correctly
But some other times we make mistakes
That is how we gain experience for life
Don't look back, honey.
Don't worry, honey
Don't let the past be a stumbling block
Instead make it a building block for a better future.
Wise words, it's all about finding the strength to persue the knowledge.

Wisdom of things that are learned by experience
and I feel it's also generous of you to share your hard
earned wisdom, but I admire you because it seems you are
doing onto others as you would like done to you.

Excellent advice, Abdi-Noor. If we dwell upon our past mistakes they will be like boots of cement upon our feet. If we look at past events as stepping stones, instead, we will go forward with strength and knowledge.
