They stare
They look
They watch
But they don't see
Yet their eyes are open
They are blind in the heart
They don't listen to God
They listen to the devil
They see through his eyes
They hear through his ears
In the school of Hatred
He calls them to enroll
He teaches them evil lessons
Upon graduation he gives them a horse
It is made up of green leaves called $
He tells them to take an eternal ride
They think they will meet God in heaven
But they shall only meet Devil in hell
and that green horse looks so good and fast, like a sure bet. wealth and power are masters of deception that would lure us from life's true meaning and reward. Dawn

Kind of a worthless ride, wouldn't you say so? Still, it is the $ that rules the world.
Oh so powerful is this poem Abdi Noor. Yet so many don't believe in hell or satan.Regaardless in whom anyone believes, the point is still made that money can be destructive. I often think it ironic how the color green portrays both envy and greed. True the green horse is a loser...Excellent poem! Blessings to you!
