Back in college days I remember proving one to be equal to two and nobody was able to detect where the process went wrong. It was part of our academic courses as mathematis was my minor. Now I find the same thing in our Somali political system where the whole political life is dominated by tribalism.
A young boy and I are having a discussion on the subject of fallacy in political terms.
Can you prove that one is equal to two?
Yes if the mathematics is a pure fallacy
What is a fallacy?
Fallacy is something you cannot prove logically
But mathematics is based on logic
Sometimes it can be made a fallacy
When?
When the denominator is zero
Can this be interpreted into politics?
Yes

If the parliament is tribal-based
It means the denominator is zero
Our parliament was set up on tribal basis
Then…….
Our political equation is wrong
It was balanced with tribalism
what we have in Somalia
is just a political fallacy
It will never go anywhere
Unless corrective measures are introduced
