Abdi-noor,

Excellent write. Islam is not behind the terror attacks; extremists are behind the bombings and horrors going on. There are "fanatics" in every religion; carried too far, it spells trouble for all mankind. I wish you peace, and please, keep educating the public with your powerful pen and heart.

This is great- your poem and Eileen's comment show the sides equally, which is the road to understanding, not attacking "so-called christians" like some do- that just leads to more misunderstanding, which is far from what this country needs more of- anywhere! You can always tell people who let political preferences rule their lives, they make such comemnts, all in defense of whatever side they are on, especially in this country. Thank God, Allah, Buddha and the rest for someone like you, wise enough to see it is wise to try to understand and not to judge, be well, my friend- Michelle

Islam is a religion of peace - anyone who uses it anything other than peace is not practising islam.

I believe that Abdi-Noor, just as I believe that many so called 'Christians,' which is also a religion of peace, are not true Christians because of all the hate in their hearts as well.

Usurping a religion for evil causes many pain that have no hand in it. All are in my prayers. 9/11 is but a scab on a deeper wound.

Abdi Noor, in our country there is a movement to suppress Christianity. They are right now planning to stop the christmas holiday's in schools. They want us to remove "In God We Trust" from our coins. There is a lot more, but I haven't time to go into it all. It is the same here, all Christians are judged by the same criteria. Even though we do not all believe the same or follow the same principles. I could as well ask the same that you ask please be kind to our country and to Christians, we are not all radical or bad. It seems that factions are beginning to spread throughout Europe and around the world, soon we will be in global warfare, as was prophesied. We had better all learn to be kind to each other, but still learn also to protect oursleves and our families etc from what is coming out way. It is a sign of the times, and we had best be prepared. This is not just about 9/11. Please don't fall into the trap of believing that. Blessings to you and yours.
