Where is Freedom of Speech (FOS)when governments and media owners set the rules of the existence of press, radio and television. Where is freedom of expression when the press is speaking from inside the mouth of the government?

Tell me what the press is to you
Tell me what you are to the press
Are you one in two
Or are you two in one?
Are you twins
Or are you two separate entities?
Are you two islands in the same sea
Or are you one sea with two islands?
Are you two birds on one tree
Or are you one butterfly in two flowers?
Are you the ocean and its coastline
Or are you an object and its shadow?
If I consider you as a human body
Where in the body can I find the press?
Has the press created the government
Or the government created the press?
Can the press be free from government
When it can't be born without gov't decree?
Is the press free in this world? No I dare say
In the context of today's world order
Freedom of speech is like your two hands
They can be free as much as they wish
But can't be free to wish against your wish
Outside government FOS should be concieved
In the Kingdom of Liberty it should be born
We have it here Abdi Noor and it can be a nightmare. The American press think they no longer have to report the news. Instead they wish to make it and manipuilate it to suit their own busines, because there are so many rivals, they each do all they can to get the story first, and it has become a disgrace for the most part. So freedom is always best, but it comes with a high price, and needs educated people to understand that the press can and does lead you astray according to their own agenda!They are unscrupulous in their wiles to get a story, and if they can't get it they make it up. They are becoming the most hated and least trusted profession here. So be careful what you get!

Bravo brother Abdi-Noor sometimes I wonder the same thing here. We must all cherish FOS and not be blinded by those actions which erode it intentionally. Free communication when truthful is the flame which fires our liberty. Peace, love, and blessings. Mikii
