Naag Xun is a Somali word for a" bad woman"
Today is father's day But Ali has no father His father passed away Before he married mom Though born out of love He hasn't received love His birth brought shame His mother was despised She ran away for safety They gave her bad names They call her Naag Xun The pain is quite heavy No one can bear with it It is a sore in the soul The child was born without a father Now he is growing withoiut a mother He is an unfortunate African child He is a victim of cultural beliefs�

I agree with Susan below!

These cultural prejudices are unconscionable, but no matter how we rail against this, it never changes. It seems like certain parts of the world are bloody cursed.

Very sad for Abdi! I hope he gains enough confidence to for a good future for himself. Forget sins of the past that he has no control over, rather, look forward to building up his own future.
