You are always in my prayers, dear Brother, and yesterday, I had the pastor at church pray for your and your family's safety. So you are covered in prayer here, too. God be with you, and may God have mercy upon your family! May the angels surround you and protect you!

And may He continue to protect you, Abdi-Noor. With the situation as it is there, I think I would probably be packing heat, but to each his/her own. I often recall a statement once told to me by a police officer when he saw me jogging in Los Angeles at 4 am. He told me that I was foolish to believe that they or anyone would be there if I needed them and that I should be carrying some form of personal protection. I told him I didn't like guns and I didn't own any at the time. His words have stuck in my mind ever since. "Survival is not manditory...have a nice day." I will keep you in my prayers.

My sister had been in Africa several years ago. She loves the place and the friendly people who had welcomed her.
