Dedicated to the oppressed masses in the world (particularly Somalia) whose rights are trampled on.

Sometimes
When I see certain leaders
When I see them abusing power
A breath of anger touches me
I can't hold myself back
Nor can I step in to stop them
I begin to feel pain in the soul
I cry with no tear in the eyes
It is the heart where I weep
Despair is not lack of hope
It is lack of Justice

Amen! Excellent write! The only justice is that of Creator Abdi Noor, that is why we must keep our eyes fixed on Him! You can search the world over and never find true justice! Humanity is too complex and divided to allow it. Though we must never stop praying for it!

Dear Brother Abdi-Noor, at best I have perhaps twenty more years on the planet as most of my ancestors die in their late 80's. I am saddened that the world does not seem to be a better place than when I arrived in it. I still yearn for justice for my planet companions and wonder how many lives do they think they have to live as they waste themselves via greed, and its' accompanying evils. Peace, love, and blessings are wished for you and yours. <Mikii>

For me to comment on this would be like a fat man commenting on the perils of hunger. I can speak with sympathy but if I were to say I was empathetic, it would be a hollow lie. I know nothing of the kind of despair or injustice that your people deal with on a daily basis. My world was formed with paper dolls, party dresses, holiday feasts and plenty. Opportunity has always been mine to grasp if I chose to take the initiative to do so and mass hunger and disease is something I read about in the newspaper. Once I set that paper aside, my life returns to normal and like the imaginings of the mind when reading a novel, those horrible stories fade as I go forward with my daily routine. If all of humanity was required to spend a year in the life that your people do, I think we would quickly make the world a very different place. I can feel the ache of frustration in your words, Abdi-Noor, and I pray for better days for Somalia and other places that are going through the same types of difficulties.
Take care,
Sherry
