Wasting their time
supporting stalwarts
Siding with crooks
Crooks who care not of them
But think of
Bribing and corrupting
Of stealing and squandering
of killing and wounding
Of injecting hopelessness
Of concocting plain lies
of filling the cup of pain


People talk at length
Not of their rights
Not of their life
Not of their wells
Not of their education
Not of survival matters
Not of peace and harmony
Not of cleaning streets
But of politcs and factions
Of religious differences
Of tribe and money
You think I am alive
But I happen to be one
who lives
