When I die I must leave something behind upon which the future generation can build upon. Steps being taken by leaders must reinforce each other to have an impact on the nation's development fabric. This would allow upcoming generation to learn from what their forefathers had done. Only then can the new generation find proper guidance to develop a vision which is relevant to the conditions of their country. They would not need to borrow development strategies from others which might not be suitable to their situation.
This tree is planted on the soil of joy
It is the symbol of courage and freedom
Its branches represnet a diverse of communities
Its leaves stand for population of integrity
Its fruits are peace love and humanity
Its flowers are harmony respect and vision
Its roots are a chain of a long history
It is watered with blood of patriotism
It can never be shaken by winds of war
It is my dream nation of the future
It is the Somalia I wish to build
It is the legacy I leave for my people
Good thoughts built on my belief system. I believe we in the U.S. have just what you speak about. Yes, some mistakes have been made. We are made up of human beings. But we are a nation of many cultures, many colors, like crayons in a box, if you will, and we get along peacefully for the most part. No person is perfect , therefore, no nation or country is perfect. We must have the live and let live attitude. We are all alike and yet all different. Respect that and leave the rest to our Creator. He is the judge and jury. Amen
