Creatures of light
Come out in daytime
Their star rises
With the rising sun
And falls down
With the fading rays
As night strikes upon
Their eyes lose sight
Their energy is sapped
BUT
Creatures of the dark
Come out in the night
Lurk in the bush
Creep in the valley
Twist on the sand
Glide in the wind
Vigilant in the night
Thaw in the light
