Bush Blair and Bin Ladin are friends of war. Let's be friends of peace to counter act their terror. This world can not afford to be plunged into a Moslem-Christian war and that is what these people are looking for.
Christianity is a religion of peace
If one gave him a slap on one cheek
A Christian wouldn't take revenge
He would ask him to do the same on the other cheek
The offender would get dead with shame and guilt
He would offer a kiss instead of a slap
The two then become one in God's love
From Islam's teachings I learned this
But hardly you believe in what I say
Where is the Christianity we see in the Koran??
Instead of fighting over differences
Why can't we agree on the similarities?

How sad that we Christians need to be reminded of Christ's teaching; as if we didn't read the book! Thank you, Abdi-Noor, for this gentle rebuke; we need to be brought back to the beginning yet again. For we two to become one in God's love, we need to see each other clearly and say, "God loves you" and to celebrate that. After all, that is what Christ came for; 'to those who received him, were given authority to become children of God'. That belongs to all of us who have opened our hearts to God, and found meaning and forgiveness there.
I don't think the first two B's are big on war, maybe some stability as things are getting out of control...something 3B (Bin) purposely upset. Religion, politicized and hijacked by extremists who target innocents and publicize barbarbaric murderous acts to convey their so-called message, is nothing new...and that's the problem...it's 2006 damnit!!! Its about greed, control, and power. Religion has been prostituted as an archaic excuse. There should be no 'middlemen' between us and God.

This is so profound that it is simple...it's the answer. We complicate everything we do, including war...as a scare tactic when simplicity is in front of our faces. The "leaders" of our world have past their calling...we need the New Age simplicity of poets. I haven't read a poet lately who hasn't prophesized war as a lost cause with no one benefiting.
Let's get new people at the round table with widsom of simplicity.
