Arriving in Djibouti yesterday with Dallo Airlines, I was impressed by the widespread peace the Djibouti people are enjoying and the commenable job their police is doing. In Somalia peace is a most expensive commodity which you can not get unless you go to war. To live in peace one should be armed in Somalia. Even though desirable steps have been taken towards peace in Somalia since the islamists chased out the warlords we can not still compare the two situations.

As our plane touched the ground
Hot winds gave me a lovely kiss
They rushed to bury me with hugs
The surging heat smiled elegantly

It is my second trip in a month
I'm happy to have made it safely
Everything I see looks familiar
Nothing seems to be so strange

People are no different than me
Their language is as same as ours
We share same culture and religion
In any way you put it we are one

I travelled to another country
Without leaving my home country
Djibouti is a home inside home
But it is a home safer than home

Peace is abundant in all forms and shape
It can be obtained in large quantaties
People don't spill blood to get peace
They are protected by their government
