Somalia was divided into five regions by the European colonialists in mid 1880's

Five sisters
Sisters of love
From same origin
Of the same roots
Screaming in pain
Yearning for love
Kept in isolation
Seeking re-union
Somalis they are
They are victims
Of Colonial powers

this is a superb historical poem. There is so much to learn from our histories and so much to be done. I like the sense of hope in this somber piece.
