My desire to write poetry emanates from three sources: joy, pain and an urge or impuslive interaction with time

From three sources
My poems do spring
Out of joyful feelings
I create love poems
I write peace poems
In the winds of harmony
I soar like an eagle
I reach heights of
Romantic passion

From three sources
My poems do spring
Out of deep pain
I pick up my pen
I write in support
Of the oppressed
I become a voice
For those whose
Voices are not heard
I target injustice
To kill injustice

With the power of my pen
I let the oppressed
Feel unoppresed
Not by giving them explosives
But by lifting their spirit
To help them break chains
I let them fight for a change
Not by supplying them with arms
By giving them hope to make a change

From three sources
My poems do spring
I read signs of time
In them I find thorns
I write words of wisdom
To carve shoes for those
Who might walk barefooted
But sometimes unfortunately
I forget to make a pair for myself
And thus I get a prickle

Great words of wisdom and truth can only come from a supremebeing-GOD
I can didto your words bccause God gives me of his spirit and this is why I write. I do not have but a high diploma but have wisdom and experience and talent given me from above and in my genes are the gift of faith handed down thru the ages under the Saints Berndette and St Therese and perhaps Theresa of Avala. Reads the books of the great Saints which include the afore mentioned, St John of the Cross, St Augustine, Edith Stien, Jewish girl who converted to Carmelite Nun and dided at Hitlers command. Your friend and fellow worker for Christ in the good ole U.S.A. Love of Jesus. Marguerite

You are a real poet because you write from the heart, whilst I, alas, write from my head. That makes this poem even more beautiful, Victor
