The question of when does life start remain as one of the most controversial issues in the subject of pregnancy terminations
With a man she had slept
She grew fat in the waist
The poor girl had conceived
She didn't expect it so soon
Inside her tiny body
A baby was growing
She is a teenage girl
In her African culture
Illegal Sex is despised
With peoples evasiveness
She felt horribly lonely
In the horizon of pain
She saw despondency
Abortion became the only option
She wants to terminate the baby
She thinks the baby is only weeks old
She thinks life has not yet started
But to some schools of thought
Life starts right after conception
It is wiser to prevent unwanted
pregnancies
Than to kill an innocent baby in the womb
Children are a gift from the Almighty
We should not waste them unnecessarily
A society devoid of sound moral ethics
Is doomed to disintegrate in the winds of indecency
The only way out is to abstain from sex before marriage. This way mothers are spared of pain and embrassment while babies are spared from abortion.

I thought it made a clear and honest statement. Who knows for sure when the soul enters the unborn child? Perhaps it is at conception, perhaps it is when the child has the ability to survive outside of the womb and perhaps it is at birth. Though I support the right for the woman to choose, I do not believe that abortion should be relied upon as a form of birth control.

This one brings tears, so many want children and many countries pervent births.... A powerful message you penned for me life is the thought before the consumation of birth..... It should be done in a way of educated acknowledgement of the possibility of actions....

I can understand much here, but I do have reservations on the word "waste". To kill a foetus is not a waste, it is murder. To think what this world has lost through these abortions! Who knows how many geniuses we have lost. Victor
