With no travel experience one does not have eyes to see.
Boy please travel
To see far beyond
And to see far behind
To see East and West
To see all directions
To undergo a test of time
To open your eyes to the world
To taste the joy and pain of life
To break the shell of innocence
Travel with your peers, boy
Travel gives you a chance
To associate with others
To know of their true nature
Their character and personality
Their patience and tolerance
They may look quite differently
Than you ever saw them in school
And sometimes during a trip
A life-time relationship develops
Many a futrue was built this way
Well done Abdinoor! The advice is excellent. I am really amazed by the way you used the rules of Somali poetry in English. Each line contains the letter "T" which is really owesome. Each line has a total number of vowels not exceeding 10! This is really wonderful. It is similar to a "JIIFTO" poem in Somali. Very beautiful really!
Thank you for demonstrating some aspects of the rich poetry structures of the Somali labguage. And thank you for encouraging people to travel. It is a wise advice!
Seeing that I can't afford to travel, I travel in books. :) There is a whole universe out there waiting to be discovered, if we'll only read...a powerful, beautiful, hopeful write, Abdi-noor, well done!
Personal journals are full of potential, waiting for you to add the color! Pages for you to fill in the blanks with tidbits and trivia about New Hampshire
