Ramadan Karimm means happy ramadan. Mua'zan is the man who calls mosles for prayers
It is 6:00 PM Mogadishu time From a not far away mosque I hear the sound of the Mu'azzan He is calling us to break the fasting People start eating and drinking now The whole city is dead with silence You hardly see anyone in the streets Over the table where I am typing this I see a glass of cold drinking water Fatma, my wife, had brought it to me Soon as I post this I shall take it But not that I shall finish it all Half of the cup will go back to Fatma Please share the bliss with us Ramadan Kariim poet

Evocative poem. Brings out the picture in words. True portrayal of angst on the month of "Ramzaan" as it is known in India where there are several good devout muslims- the second largest population in any country in this world.
