Along with the war on terror there must be another war waged against poverty otherwise resources spent on this project will be a total waste. Poverty and ignorance are the two main factories that manufacture terrorists and if they are left operating they keep turning over terrorists at an alarming rate

There is not only a link between poverty and terrorism but also with crime. In South Africa where I lived for most of my life this is clearly evident. Suffering leads to disattisfaction and ultimately to uprising. A stirringly good write.

but there is such a thing of a two edged sword. I am not saying that poverty shouldn't be addressed, on the contrary I am very much in favor, but I doubt if it would resolve terrorism. I wish it would though. This world will end in terrorism, not neccessarily from the east. Victor
