We are victims of many calamities. this is nt relevant with our present situation of floods but it is something that used to happen in dry seasons when drought struck us.
Situation painfully bleak
Rinfall in severe shortage
Crop failure shockingly high
Onset of a famine quite visible
State of emergency declared
But the nation is quite unprepared
The world too is not well preppared
Agencies embark on fund-raising project
Outbreak of diseases become rampant
Drought victims keep dying by the day
To reach them one needs to cross hurdles
One of them is how to deliver the supplies
As there are no safe corridors to pass
The warlords are fighting in the streets
Delayed response claims some death toll
Street fighting of warlords claims more
That is how our people are perishing
Unless we get a functional government
we can not stop Somalia from bleeding

indeed your country is NOT the only one bleeding..so many so-called affluent countries bleed in other ways..yes, bleeding is bleeding..the loss of life energy..alas..we humans have still so much to learn..
