A devil may try to shift to the face of the angel but no way can it be an angel.
A man of good faith
Makes love not war
But this naughty boy
While reading the book
flings mud at your back
But when you look back
He hides behind the verses
Disappears between the lines
Melts in the air of deception
Wears the mask of innocence
Makes you think that he is a Man of God
But he is a devil trapped in human body
Cross over the hurdles of hesitation
And shoot the devil right in the heart
Not with bullets but with prayers
Ah Dearest Brother Abdi-Noor the devil is truly the Da-veil, the veil that keeps many locked in the throes of ignorance which I think is the greatest of all sins as it spawns all of the others. Peace, love, blessings, and gratitude for caring and sharing. Grangran-n-Baba
The devil comes in many disguises my friend as you have described in your poem. He comes much like a thief in the night...sneaking...for that is what his intentions are to decieve, trick, maniupulate, bind, and steal one's joy so he may try to overtake us and steal the ultimate prize...our soul. Great write, it is best to stay prayed up so one will recognize satan, no matter how pretty the package may appear on the outside. Enjoyed this much, kind of like the old cliche "everything that glitters isn't gold"

This morning as I am sitting and enjoying my Christmas, I am hearing about the Ethiopians bombing the Somalia Airport and I am thinking of you and your family, hoping that you are out of harms way. Africa is in a terrible state right now and Somalia seems to be in the center of it all. I pray for you and your family and for all of the Somali people. I pray that you will finally get a strong and honest government that will be take care of and look out for its people and that you will be able to live in freedom without fear. God bless you, Abdi-Noor. Sorry to go off in such a direction here, I enjoyed your poem very much and, yes you really do have to watch your back. Those who were your friends yesterday may very well be your enemies today.
