Wars have changed many things. amog them are the personality and character of people. Few of them are reliable these days.
Filled with revulsion and hatred
He has a heart devoid of mercy
A natural loather he is
Yet a smile fits on his face
In it there is a mark of deception
He wears a mask of humanity
Behind which he hides
To conceal his feelings
And to hatch his plots
While sharpening knives
To place them precisely
Between your shoulders
He settles a case with you
Of which you don’t know about
“Vengeance is mine” is all that he knows
He3 suffers from a personality disorder
It seems that the devil learned about cloning long before we did because there is evil lurking everywhere we go. The human spirit doesn't seem to reside in a space of peace and harmony as it once did. Now it is alway "all about me" and the hell with the other guy. It is a sad situation, Abdi-Noor.

"Vengeance is mine"; what a pitiful grasp at power in this man's life! Vengeance is God's, as the Bible explains tirelessly; no human has the right to take vengeance into his own hands. Perhaps if the last line could be amended; it does not seem to fit the tenor of the rest of the poem; perhaps on the lines of 'He is the most pitiful man on Earth'.

I think as the world becomes smaller and we spend more time away from people and accessing the world and "friends" from within our four walls isolating ourselves there will be less mercy seen. Thought provoking.
